Lancashire & Yorkshire Lamp. Stamped, complete with its original lantern of which it had when removed from the buffer stops at Horwich Station. The lantern is a LNWR pattern. The ladder assembly is not an original fitment, although an original L&Y ladder from a signal, This was fitted when erected in the vendors fathers garden. Norman Johnson lit the oil lamp every night for decades. This lot is being sold in situ, buyer to remove. There is an 18″ foot below the ground set in to open ground, no concrete.
