Locomotive Worksplate “The Vulcan Foundry Limited, Newton Le Willows, Lancashire No. 5170 1944”, as carried by Riddles designed Austerity 2-8-0 for the War Department numbered “79227”, sold to British Railways 1948 and renumbered “90688”. Allocations included Dairycoates, York North, Springhead, Goole. Withdrawn June 1967, one of the last to go. Embossed cast brass, cleaned.
