Locomotive Nameplate “Selkirkshire” carried by Gresley D49 Shire/Hunt Class 4-4-0 light express passenger engine. Built Darlington Works, emerging to traffic March 1929. Allocations included Carlisle Canal, Starbeck, York (N), Scarborough, Malton, Selby. Withdrawn in April 1959, numbered 2756, 2731, 62731. Lightly polished, repainted ground.
