Description

Smokebox Numberplate “44243”, as carried by Fowler designed Class 4F 0-6-0 freight loco, built Derby Works.  Emerging to traffic April 1926.  Allocations from 1948 include Cricklewood, Kentish Town, Wellingborough, Toton, Rowsley, Derby, Westhouses. Withdrawn September 1965.  Repainted face only.
