Description

Locomotive Worksplate “LMS 1896 HORWICH”, as carried by 2-4-2 Tank loco numbered 50712, Class 1008, designed by J. Aspinall.  Emerging to traffic March 1895, allocations included Mirfield, Huddersfield, Sowerby Bridge, Wakefield, Blackpool, Lostock Hall, Southport, Bank Hall.  Withdrawn March 1959.  Repainted face, clean back.
